What Is Jaw/Chin Enhancement?
Jaw and chin filler is one of the most structural things I do. It creates real definition, improves facial balance, and can make a significant difference to how the whole lower face reads — without anything surgical.
People come to me for this for all sorts of reasons. Some want a sharper jawline or a more projected chin. Others are noticing early jowling, where the jaw starts to lose its definition and the skin begins to drift downward, creating a heaviness along the lower face and around the neck area. Filler placed precisely along the jaw can lift and redefine that border, giving a much cleaner, more structured silhouette without touching the skin itself.
The lower face is also one of the biggest contributors to overall facial balance. A stronger chin can make the nose look more in proportion, reduce the appearance of a double chin, and create a more elegant neck profile. I never treat the jaw or chin in isolation. I always look at the whole face first, so whatever I do down here works in harmony with everything above it.
Results in this area tend to be long lasting. Most clients find they hold well for around 12 to 18 months before a top up is needed.
I use only MHRA-approved products sourced from registered GPhC pharmacies. All filler is fully dissolvable and I hold full medical malpractice insurance.

The Process
What to Expect
Your Consultation
I'll assess your lower face and overall facial balance, listen to what you'd like to change, and give you my honest recommendation. I'll talk you through exactly what filler can achieve in this area and what realistic results look like for your specific anatomy.
The Treatment
A topical numbing cream is applied before I begin. I place filler carefully along the jaw and chin using a fine needle or cannula, building structure and definition gradually and checking the result throughout. The treatment takes around 20 to 30 minutes.
Aftercare
Some swelling and occasional bruising is normal and will settle over 2 to 5 days. The final result is visible at around 2 weeks. I'll give you full written aftercare instructions before you leave.
Suitability
Is This Right for Me?
Jaw and chin enhancement is suitable for adults aged 18 and over in good general health. I won't treat anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. A full consultation is carried out before any treatment to assess your anatomy and make sure this is the right approach for your concerns. I'll always tell you honestly if I think a different treatment would serve you better.

Will it look natural?
Yes. I work with your existing bone structure rather than trying to impose a completely different shape. The goal is always a result that looks like a better version of you, not someone else entirely.
Can I get both jaw and chin done at the same time?
Yes, and often treating both together gives the best overall result. I'll assess what combination of treatment will work best for your face at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
A numbing cream is applied beforehand. The jaw area is generally well tolerated. You'll feel some pressure as the filler is placed but most clients find it very manageable.
How long does it last?
Jaw and chin filler tends to last well due to the structural nature of the treatment and the type of product used. Most clients find results last around 12 months.
Can jaw filler slim my face?
Strategic placement of filler along the jaw can create a more defined and angular appearance which can make the face look more sculpted. I'll be honest at your consultation about what is achievable for your specific face shape.
Can it be dissolved?
Yes. All the products I use are hyaluronic acid based and fully dissolvable if needed.
