The Treatment

Skin regeneration, not filler

Lumi Eyes is a polynucleotide treatment designed specifically for the delicate skin around the eyes. Polynucleotides are highly purified biological molecules that work by stimulating your skin's own fibroblast cells to produce more collagen and elastin, improving the quality, thickness and hydration of the skin from within.

The under-eye area is one of the first places to show signs of tiredness, ageing and dehydration. Fine lines, hollowness, dark circles and crepey texture are all signs that the skin in this area needs support at a deeper level than any topical product can reach. Lumi Eyes addresses this directly with a series of small, precise injections into the skin just beneath the eye, delivering polynucleotides exactly where they are needed.

Unlike filler, Lumi Eyes does not add volume. It regenerates. The treatment improves skin quality over time, making the under-eye area look brighter, smoother and more rested. Results build gradually and continue improving over several weeks as the skin's own renewal process responds to treatment.

A course of two to three sessions spaced three to four weeks apart is recommended for the best results, with a maintenance session every six to twelve months to sustain them.

✦ Good for

Dark circles, fine lines around the eye, crepey under-eye skin, hollowness, tired-looking eyes, loss of hydration and firmnes

The Process

What to Expect

01

Consultation and assessment

I assess the under-eye area, discuss your concerns and confirm the treatment is the right option for you. I will also ask about any allergies or medical history relevant to polynucleotide treatments.

02

Cleanse and prepare

The skin around the eye is thoroughly cleansed and the area is prepared for treatment.

03

Topical anaesthetic

A numbing cream is applied and left for around 15 to 20 minutes to ensure you are comfortable throughout.

04

Polynucleotide injections

Using a very fine needle, I make a series of small, precise injections into the skin just beneath the eye. The technique is careful and methodical, covering the full treatment area evenly.

05

Post treatment care

Once the injections are complete, the area is gently cleansed and a soothing product applied to calm the skin.

06

Aftercare guidance

I explain what to expect over the following days, what to avoid and how to get the best from your results.

Questions

Lumi Eyes FAQs

Is Lumi Eyes the same as tear trough filler?

No. Lumi Eyes is a polynucleotide treatment that regenerates skin quality over time. Tear trough filler adds volume to a hollow area. They work differently and suit different concerns. At your consultation I will advise which is the better option for you.

Does it hurt?

The under-eye area is numbed with a topical anaesthetic cream before treatment. Most clients find it very manageable. You may feel a mild pressure or tingling during the injections.

Will I bruise?

Bruising is possible given the delicate nature of the under-eye area. It is not guaranteed but should be factored into your plans. Any bruising typically settles within three to five days.

How many sessions will I need?

For best results I recommend a course of two to three sessions spaced three to four weeks apart. Some clients see a meaningful improvement after just one session.

When will I see results?

Polynucleotides work gradually. You may notice some initial brightness and hydration improvement within a couple of weeks, with the full regenerative effect building over two to three months.

How long do results last?

Results typically last six to twelve months. A maintenance session once or twice a year keeps results looking their best.
