What Are Skin & Lip Boosters?
Skin boosters are one of the most effective ways to improve the actual quality of your skin rather than just treating surface-level concerns. Unlike filler, which adds volume and structure, these treatments work by delivering hydration, collagen stimulation and cellular repair from the inside out. I offer several different options depending on your skin goals, budget and how your skin is currently presenting.
Skin Boosters
Classic skin boosters use hyaluronic acid delivered through a series of tiny micro-injections across the face, neck or hands. They restore hydration to dehydrated or dull skin, improve elasticity, and give the skin a plumper, more radiant look. Results develop over a few weeks and a course of three sessions spaced around four weeks apart gives the best outcome.
Lip Boosters
Lip boosters use the same micro-injection technique focused around the lip area. Rather than adding volume like traditional lip filler, they improve the texture and hydration of the lip itself, reducing fine lines around the mouth and giving lips a softer, smoother appearance. A good option for anyone who wants to improve the look of their lips without any change in shape or size.
Under Eye Boosters
The under eye area is one of the most delicate parts of the face and one of the first to show signs of tiredness, dehydration and ageing. Under eye boosters target this area with ultra-fine micro-injections that improve skin quality, reduce crepiness and brighten the overall appearance. Often used alongside tear trough filler for a more complete result.
Polynucleotides (PDRN)
Polynucleotides work at a cellular level to regenerate and repair skin tissue, stimulating collagen and elastin production rather than simply hydrating. Results build progressively across a course of sessions with visible improvements in texture, tone, pigmentation and radiance. Read more about polynucleotides.
Profhilo
Profhilo uses a very high concentration of pure hyaluronic acid that spreads through the skin tissue to tighten, hydrate and improve elasticity across the whole face. Seventy Hyal
Seventy Hyal is a next-generation skin booster combining hyaluronic acid with a skin-stimulating technology to deliver deep hydration and collagen stimulation in one. Results are typically visible after a single session, with a full course delivering a noticeable improvement in skin quality, smoothness and glow.
I use only MHRA-approved products sourced from registered GPhC pharmacies. All treatments are fully reversible where applicable and I hold full medical malpractice insurance.

The Process
What to Expect
Your Consultation
I'll assess your skin, discuss your concerns, and recommend the most suitable booster product for you. I'll also advise on how many sessions are likely to give you the best result and talk you through what to expect.
The Treatment
A topical numbing cream is applied before I begin. The booster is delivered through a series of small, precise injections across the treatment area. The treatment takes around 20 to 30 minutes and is very well tolerated by most clients.
Aftercare
You may have some small raised dots at the injection sites immediately after treatment — these settle within 24 to 48 hours. I'll give you full written aftercare instructions before you leave. For best results a course of 2 to 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart is usually recommended.
Suitability
Is This Right for Me?
Skin and lip boosters are suitable for adults aged 18 and over in good general health. They are not suitable for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding or who has active skin infections or inflammation in the treatment area. I'll carry out a full skin assessment at your consultation to make sure this is the right treatment for your skin concerns.

How is a skin booster different from filler?
Skin boosters use a much more fluid form of hyaluronic acid that spreads through the tissue rather than adding structure or volume. The goal is improved hydration, skin quality and radiance rather than shape or volume change.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients benefit from a course of 2 to 3 sessions spaced around 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance every 6 to 12 months. I'll give you a personalised recommendation at your consultation based on your skin.
Does it hurt?
A numbing cream is applied beforehand. The injections are very fine and most clients find the treatment very comfortable. There may be some mild stinging at the injection sites but this settles quickly.
When will I see results?
You'll notice an improvement in skin hydration quite quickly, with the full benefit visible over 2 to 4 weeks as the product integrates into the skin. Results continue to improve with each session in a course.
Can I have a lip booster if I already have lip filler?
Yes. A lip booster works differently to filler and can be used alongside existing filler to improve texture and hydration. I'll assess your lips at your consultation and advise on the best approach.
How long do results last?
Results from a course of skin boosters typically last 6 to 9 months. Maintenance sessions help to sustain and build on the results over time.
